On the homepage, you can quickly get an overview of the latest news and trends relevant to the portal. Here is a description of a few of the many components of the homepage:

1. Featured articles highlights articles that editor thought were especially important.

2. Recent and other articles display the latest articles that have been automatically ranked and grouped by similarity.

3. The Entities in the News reveal recent trends by showing the most mentioned People, Organizations and Location.

4. Recent Comments shows a recent activity through comments made by visitors.

5. The Quotes widget displays recent quotes extracted from articles.

For every article, you can see the entities and quotes mentioned in the article as well as other articles of interested that are in the same category, written by the same author, published in the same publication or mention the same entities. You can also see comments made about this article by visitors.

You can now drill down into a category and not only see articles within a category, but also gain insights into the top Organizations, People and Locations within a category.

On the search results page, though related and matching articles, entities, quotes, publishers and categories, you can quickly gain insight into the results of your query.

The quotes pages lets you browse through quotes extracted from articles in your site.

The comments page lets you see threaded comments made by site visitors on article and entities.
