Kathy Kincade is a Senior editor Laser Focus World.  Kathy Kincade has been a technical journalist for 20 years, specializing in medical and industrial applications of lasers, optoelectronics, optical imaging, optical sensing, and spectroscopy. She is currently a contributing editor to Laser Focus World and editor of the related business newsletters Medical Laser Report and Optoelectronics Report, which includes compiling and writing the annual review and forecast of the medical laser systems market. Kincade has written extensively for several medical-technology publications, including Diagnostic Imaging, PACS and Networking News, Health Networking News, SCAN, and Telemedicine and Telehealth Networks. She received her BA in mass communications from the University of California-Berkeley in 1982.
