About Roger F. Steinert

Roger F. Steinert, is Professor of Ophthalmology, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Vice Chair of Clinical Ophthalmology, and Director of Cataract, Refractive, and Corneal Surgery at the University of California Irvine. Prior to accepting these appointments, he was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and in consultative practice in Boston. Dr. Steinert earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, having graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College. He served his residency at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary where he was an attending surgeon until moving to UC Irvine.
